I would like to say that I truly look forward to working with each of you in this upcoming school year. This blurb is meant to provide guidelines and expectations of behavior for the upcoming school year.  Our goal is to make every day, week and month during the year as productive as possible for both students and staff alike.  My expectation of you as students here at MLK is to meet us half way in a mutually respectful and dignified manner.  We the staff members of MLK are here to support you in your academic efforts.  We are committed to establishing guidelines which ensure discipline with dignity and respect for all parties at all times. 

In closing, I would like to ask that you use our R.O.A.R acronym from our P.B.I.S. program. 1) be Respectful at all times 2) be Organized and ready for learning 3) always be Accountable for your actions and 4) be Responsible for your appearance, behavior and actions at all times. - Respectful, Organized, Accountable and Responsible.

 

Also, try to remember one must be accepting of others for who and what they are as we strive each day in learning and celebrating our differences!
